Description

Round, buoyant and unmistakably Cartier, the Ballon Bleu 33 mm pairs 18k rose gold with stainless steel in a pebble-smooth case that seems to float on the wrist. The signature blue sapphire cabochon crown nestles beneath its protective arc, while the silvered guilloché dial carries Roman numerals and blued-steel sword-shaped hands.

A self-winding mechanical movement animates the watch, and the polished two-tone bracelet completes its warm, jewellery-like presence.

Since 2007 the Ballon Bleu has become one of Cartier's most beloved designs — feminine, sculptural and quietly luxurious in equal measure.
